Miami
Proper. 🍸
Miami is loud, colorful, and intense. But beneath the party scene lies a city of incredible romance. We have curated the spots where the music is live, the breeze is warm, and the views are unforgettable.
The Stone Barge
Biscayne Bay
"It’s an Italian Renaissance villa dropped into the tropics. Walk out to the Stone Barge breakwater. With the water lapping against the stone statues, you’ll feel like you’re in Venice, not Florida."
Vizcaya Gardens.
This is the crown jewel of Miami romance. Ten acres of formal gardens, hidden grottos, and mangrove shorelines. It is timeless elegance.
The Secret Garden
Look for the "Secret Garden" near the south terrace. It’s walled off, quiet, and usually empty. Perfect for a private moment.
South Pointe Park. 🌅
Forget the chaotic middle of Ocean Drive. Go south. This park sits at the very tip of the island. It’s where the ocean meets the bay, and the sunset views over the skyline are unmatched.
The Pier
Walk out onto the pier. You can watch the massive cruise ships leaving port—they are so close you can wave to the passengers.
Smith & Wollensky
Grab a drink at the outdoor bar. You don't need a reservation to sit by the water and watch the sunset turn the sky purple.
Joe's Stone Crab
"It’s an institution. If you want the classic Miami experience without the wait, go to 'Joe’s Take Away' next door and have a picnic on the beach."
Cape Florida
Key Biscayne
"Drive over the Rickenbacker Causeway until the road ends. You’ll find the oldest standing structure in Miami. It feels like the edge of the world—windswept, wild, and incredibly romantic."
The Lighthouse.
Climb the 109 spiral steps for a view of the stilt houses in Biscayne Bay. It’s the perfect place to watch the sunset away from the South Beach crowds.
Boater's Grill
Hidden in a nearby harbor is a casual Cuban seafood spot. Plastic chairs, fresh snapper, and cold beer right on the water.
Coral Rock
Coral Gables
"It’s not a chlorine box; it’s a 1920s lagoon carved out of a coral rock quarry. With waterfalls, caves, and freezing cold spring water, it feels like swimming in a Gatsby novel."
The Venetian Pool.
If the beach is too sandy and the hotel pools are too loud, come here. It creates a natural, romantic atmosphere that is unique to Miami.
The Grotto
Swim into the cave behind the waterfall. It’s loud, dark, and the perfect excuse to hold onto each other.
The Golden Mammoth. 🦣
Only in Miami would you find a 24-karat gold woolly mammoth skeleton in a glass box on the beach. It’s Damien Hirst’s masterpiece, and it sets the tone for the Faena District.
The Living Room
Walk inside the hotel to the bar. It’s draped in tiger print and red velvet. Order a cocktail and listen to the live cabaret singer. It’s pure, unapologetic glamour.
"Gone But Not Forgotten"
"It sits in the garden, framed by the ocean. Seeing it glittering in the afternoon sun is surreal. It’s the ultimate Miami flex date—art, gold, and ocean air."
The Walls
Street Art Museum
"It’s the world's largest outdoor street art museum. Walking through the Wynwood Walls feels like walking through a kaleidoscope. It’s vibrant, energetic, and the best photo backdrop in the city."
Wynwood Arts.
This former warehouse district is now the creative soul of Miami. It’s less pretentious than the Beach and full of breweries and galleries.
1-800-LUCKY
An Asian food hall with a hidden outdoor patio. It turns into a party at night with a DJ. Great for a casual, high-energy date.
Cerveceria La Tropical
Explore the massive tropical garden inside this brewery. It’s lush, beautiful, and the beer is authentically Cuban.
Massive Light. 💡
Across the street from the Rubell Museum is Superblue. It’s experiential art—clouds of soap bubbles, mirrored mazes, and digital flowers that respond to your touch.
Clouds
You literally walk through a room filled with soap bubbles. It’s surreal, playful, and disarming. You will feel like kids again.
Pulse Topology
thousands of lightbulbs that pulse to the rhythm of your own heartbeat. It is unexpectedly intimate.
TeamLab
"This isn't a gallery where you stand back and whisper. It’s art you walk inside. It breaks down barriers and gives you endless things to talk about."
The Planetarium
Downtown
"Lean back in the 67-foot dome. On 'Laser Fridays,' they blast Pink Floyd, Daft Punk, or Lady Gaga synced to old-school laser visuals. It’s trippy, nostalgic, and incredibly fun."
Laser Fridays. 🌌
The Frost Science Museum isn't just for kids. Twice a month, the lights go down and the lasers come out. It fits the Miami Vice aesthetic perfectly.
The Lunar Terrace
Before the show, go up to the roof. The view of the Downtown Miami skyline lit up in neon at night is one of the best in the city.
The Seasonal
